Sam has been a lobbying staff member at Castro since February 2025. She grew up in Amsterdam, studied law and philosophy in Leiden, and completed her master’s degree in Ethics and Political Philosophy in the summer of 2025. After developing an interest in the world of public affairs through her background in political philosophy, she started as a lobbying intern at Castro and remained on staff after six months.
With her legal background and conceptual philosophical perspective, she enjoys engaging in substantive lobbying and explores the theoretical and practical opportunities offered by regulations and governance.
Sam has experience working with clients across a wide range of sectors, including tech and industry. What they all have in common is their stake in the political turmoil in Amsterdam, which can also involve crisis communication.
